Last year we played Letchworth in glorious sunshine, this year it was continuous rain and the team that got in an early break had the advantage. By lunch time there was standing water and we were 2 – 0 down. I don’t know whether it was something in the lunch boxes or more mistakes by the opposition but the afternoon singles session saw a complete reversal of fortune with a clean sweep by Wrest Park. Our first win this year!
