Western Area GC League 2016

Wrest Park first dipped its toes into the pool of competitive GC play in 2014, playing in the Western Area league. The first season was a learning exercise, which is another way of saying that the team failed to gain any points. Experience, they say, is cheap at any price, and the following year the team was again bottom of the league but managed to draw two matches. This season the squad has been bolstered by new members, and the team improved significantly with two wins from five matches (one against local rivals Leighton-Linslade), finishing in fourth place.
