Development Squad Coaching 2-3 April

The club played host for a CA Development Squad coaching weekend on 2-3 April. On Saturday most of the day was spent in the pavilion absorbing details of advanced strategy, and on Sunday the squad were out on the lawns practising various manoeuvres and specific shots, such as approaching hoops from corners.

The weather held fair, and the early season event had the advantage of ensuring that the lawns were got into a fit state. Given that April is only just upon us they were in good condition and should be even better for the EACF Champions Day tournament in a fortnight’s time.

Tim Brewer and Geoge Collin stayed on on Sunday afternoon and put down the spring fertiliser. Our thanks to them and to the various club members who came down to help set up and put away each day.
