Annual Dinner 2019

Points mean prizes. Back row, l-r: De Grey Plate, B level trophy, Archer Cup, Ashwell Cup, Bottomley Plate. Front row: 14 point trophy, Golf croquet singles day  cup, Steel Cup, Golf croquet handicap cup.

It was back to the Lower Stondon golf club, and once again Peter Aspinall did a great job of organising everything, down to individual place cards complete with menu choices. This year the club’s growing number of GC players made up at least half of the 30 attendees, about the same proportion of the membership as a whole. After dinner chairman David Woolley made a short speech followed by the awarding of the various trophies for the internal club competitions and the Chairman’s Award for outstanding service, which this year went to George Collin.
