Social Day 11 May
Warm sunshine and a full house, with all the lawns in use.
The Social Day was a great success, the main factor being unseasonably warm and sunny weather. We even had three visitors as a result of advertising in Silsoe News and elsewhere. There were competitions for short croquet and Pirates, and also the game involving hitting a lemon through hoops 1-
Gill Brewer laid on a splendid lunch, and play continued in the afternoon, followed by the prizegiving. Many thanks to all those who helped with coaching and making our visitors welcome, and for setting up in the morning and clearing up at the end of an enjoyable day.
